High-speed winder drive control

Overview
A complete electrical drive control system for wide, high-speed double-drum winding at 1500 m/min. We engineer the drive architecture, control cabinets, PLC logic and operator interface, then commission the line on site.

Control architecture
Regenerative common-DC-bus architecture: an Inovance SLM rectifier/regenerative unit feeds a common DC bus shared by all ABB ACS880 sectional inverters, so braking energy is returned to the grid instead of dissipated as heat. Field level and control level communicate over PROFINET industrial Ethernet.
